Have you noticed this?

You can sleep “enough.”
You can eat okay.
You can even start the day motivated…

…and still feel tired.

Not “I need a nap” tired.

More like:

your brain feels heavy.

your body feels slow.

everything feels like it takes 20% more effort than it should.

Most people hear that and instantly go:

“Maybe I need more discipline.”

“Maybe I’m just not consistent.”

“Maybe I’m not built for this.”

But a lot of the time, it’s none of that.

It’s simpler.

You’re leaking energy.

Not in a dramatic way.

In tiny, invisible ways that run in the background all day.

So here’s something I do when I feel that “why am I tired?” feeling:

I make an Energy Leak List.

And I don’t try to fix my whole life.

I close ONE leak.

Here are the 5 most common ones:

1) Open conversations

That message you haven’t answered.
That awkward talk you keep avoiding.
That “we need to talk” hanging in the air.

Open loops drain you.
Even if you pretend they don’t.

Close it: send the message, set the time, or end it clean.

2) Unmade decisions

When you don’t decide, your brain keeps re-running the same question:

“Should I…?”
“What if…?”
“Maybe later…?”

That mental tab stays open 24/7.

Close it: decide, or pick a deadline to decide.

3) Digital constant stimulation

Notifications. Scrolling. Switching tabs.
Even “productive” content.

It keeps your nervous system on.

So you never actually recharge.

Close it: silence notifications for 2 hours, put the phone in another room, do one task start to finish.

4) People-pleasing

Saying yes when you mean no.
Over-explaining.
Trying to be “easy” for everyone.

It looks nice.

It feels exhausting.

Close it: one clean boundary today. One “No” without a paragraph.

5) Perfectionism

Not the “high standards” kind.

The kind that makes you delay because you want it to be flawless.

That is hidden stress.

Close it: ship the 80% version. Then adjust.

Now here’s the part most people miss:

You don’t need to fix all five.

Pick the one that hit you hardest.

Close ONE leak today.

And watch how much energy comes back.

Because you’re not tired from doing too much.

You’re tired from carrying too many open loops.

If you want a system that helps you work with clarity (and keep momentum without burning out), that’s exactly what I built inside Guided Missile Goals.

It’s the structure that keeps you moving without living in mental chaos.
