Ever have those days where you’re just… mentally off?

Not depressed.
Not “burned out.”

Just foggy. Heavy. Distracted.

Like your brain won’t grab onto anything.

Most people do one of two things:

  1. They try to “motivate” themselves.

  2. They doom-scroll until the day disappears.

Neither works.

So here’s what I use instead:

The 10-Minute Reset Protocol

3 steps. 10 minutes. No motivation required.

Because you’re not trying to feel better first.

You’re trying to get back into motion so your brain follows.

Step 1 (3 minutes): Move

Nothing fancy.

Walk fast.
Push-ups.
Air squats.
Stairs.
Shake the body awake.

Three minutes is enough to change your state.

Step 2 (3 minutes): Write this question

Open notes. Pen and paper. Doesn’t matter.

Write:

“What actually matters today?”

Not what’s loud.
Not what’s urgent.
What matters.

Then write 1–3 bullets. That’s it.

Step 3 (4 minutes): Start one thing

Not “finish.” Not “do it perfectly.”

Start.

Open the doc.

Write the first ugly paragraph.

Send the first message.

Create the first slide.

Do the first rep.

Four minutes.

You’re not chasing a full productive day.

You’re creating a re-entry point.

Because once you’ve started, your brain stops arguing.

It shifts from “I should…” to “I’m doing.”

Next time you feel mentally off, don’t negotiate with it.

Run the protocol.

And if you do it today, hit reply with one word:

RESET
