Confession: I set 3 goals at the start of this year.

Big ones.
Meaningful ones.
Ones I actually cared about.

And by February?

I'd quietly stopped thinking about two of them.

Not because life got in the way.
Not because the goals were wrong.

But because I never decided what I was willing to give up to achieve them.

Goals without sacrifice are just wishes.

Every yes to something new is a no to something else.

Your time.
Your energy.
Your attention.

All finite.
All already spoken for.

And until you get honest about that- goals stay stuck on a list.

The goal I kept?

It was the one I made a trade for.

I gave up two hours of scrolling a night.
I stopped saying yes to plans that drained me.
I chose it, over other things, again and again.

That's what commitment actually looks like.
Not motivation.
Not inspiration.

A trade.

So here's my question for you:

What's one goal you still care about and what's one thing you'd be willing to trade for it?

Reply and tell me.
I read every single one.
